Sell Your Business with Socially Versed
Get your business prepared, professionally presented, and introduced to potential buyers — with no upfront application or listing fees. We earn a success fee only when a buyer attributed to Socially Versed completes the purchase.
How It Works
Tell Us About Your Business
Complete the seller application and share the information needed to evaluate and present the opportunity.
Review and Sign the Agreement
Review the listing authorization, buyer-attribution rules, and success-fee schedule.
We Prepare Your Listing
Socially Versed reviews the submission, requests any missing information, and prepares the business listing.
Your Official Listing Launches
An authorized Socially Versed administrator publishes the listing and records the exact official launch date and time.
We Introduce Potential Buyers
Each inquiry or referral is timestamped. If an attributed buyer purchases the business, the success fee is calculated using the locked lead timestamp, asking-price snapshot, and final transaction value.
What Is Included
Socially Versed does not guarantee a buyer, selling price, financing, valuation, or closing. This is a marketing and referral arrangement, not a brokerage, legal, or financial-services relationship.
“No upfront application or listing fees. Socially Versed is paid only when a buyer we introduce completes the purchase of your business.”

Success-Fee Schedule
We use the greater of the time-based fee percentage or the above-asking performance percentage.
| Within first 15 days after official launch | 10% |
| After 15 days, before 1-year anniversary | 5% |
| On/after 1-year anniversary, before 3-year anniversary | 4% |
| On/after 3-year anniversary | 3% |
| More than 1× and less than 2× asking price | 6% |
| At least 2× and less than 3× asking price | 7% |
| At least 3× and less than 4× asking price | 8% |
| At least 4× asking price | 9% |
Fee timestamp rule
The applicable time-based percentage is determined by when the potential buyer's lead, inquiry, or referral is first received — not when the transaction closes. The percentage is locked and backdated to the earliest valid lead-attribution timestamp.
Example: If the listing officially launches on September 1 and a buyer submits an inquiry on September 10, the 10% rate is locked for that buyer — even if the transaction closes months or years later.
Asking-price snapshot rule
For each buyer lead, an immutable snapshot of the official asking price is stored at the moment the lead is received. If the asking price changes later, the snapshot for an existing lead is never changed. The above-asking calculation compares the final transaction value to that lead's asking-price snapshot.
Commission-clock start
Your success-fee timeline does not begin when you apply or sign. It begins only after you have provided at least 60% of the required pre-listing information, Socially Versed approves it, and your listing officially launches.
Interactive Fee Calculator
Enter your official launch date/time, the buyer's lead date/time, the asking price, and the final transaction value. This is an educational estimate — the signed agreement and backend calculation control the final amount.

What We Need to Properly List and Sell Your Business
The more complete and verifiable your information is, the stronger and more credible your listing will be. We require at least 60% of the core pre-listing information before your listing can officially launch. We strongly recommend providing as close to 100% as possible.
Readiness levels
“Eligible for Review” does not mean automatically approved or launched. An administrator must still verify, approve, and officially publish your listing.
